You will also have to keep a close eye on a puppy till he is advanced and matured, when he is playing in the backyard. Overall puppy crates actually keep the puppy in a safe position, just like babies in a cot when you are too busy around the house or going outdoors. But also make sure that the puppy is always in a healthy place and the crate is placed somewhere with plenty of sunshine and fresh air. It should never be in a damp or dark atmosphere.
